New Space at the Birth Place

Wow! It’s hard to believe that we moved into our new office space at 1130 E. Plant St. three months ago already. It has certainly been hectic. A heartfelt thank you goes out to all of our wonderful clients who have hung in there with us as we have attempted to settle into our new way of being – kind of like getting through the first trimester really! I anticipate plain sailing from here so, again, thanks for your patience.

Let me update you on our latest endeavors. We now operate two facilities on what I like to refer to as The Birth Place ‘campus’. Our birthing center is fully operational and remains at 1150 E. Plant St., Winter Garden at our original site. Watch out for the opening of another birthing bedroom in addition to the two existing bedrooms and the water birthing room, as well as increased family waiting and dining facilities. Now your experience is enhanced as you are afforded total privacy, free of clinic interruptions, during your labor and delivery. Our new office at 1130 E. Plant St. is a short walk or drive west of the birth center building and houses the Pregnancy and Women’s Wellness Center. The focus at this center is to promote health and wellness for women throughout the lifespan by providing not only clinical services but education, networking and support for all Central Florida women. Our classroom is finally large enough to accommodate our needs and we will be offering a full range of childbirth, parenting, women’s and family health classes and seminars. (If you have an interest in presenting a workshop, please get in touch with the office). Our ‘Orientation to Birth Center Birth’ program runs continually every three weeks, Monday nights at 7pm – call to confirm for availability of space – and is open to anyone interested the option of natural birth.

You can see some photos of our new building and facilities in the photo gallery.
